SOLVE Community Clean up

Kelsey Stark, our amazing Volunteer Program Manager has teamed Transition Projects up with SOLVE for a community clean-up project in the area around our NW shelter - the River District Navigation Center. Here are the details:

  • DATE:    August 23, 2025 – All are welcome!
  • TIME:    9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • WHERE: River District Navigation Center | 1111 NW Naito Parkway, Portland 97209 | Map Link |
                      Look for the SOLVE signs {Meet in front of the Center}

    • Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
  • PROVIDED:    SOLVE will provide Gloves, safety vests, litter grabbers and trash bags.
                            Please BYO reusable water bottle to stay hydrated!
  • BRING:    Wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available.
  • Parking:    Street parking is available.
  • Transit:     Both the red and blue Max lines, and TriMet bus lines 6 and 17.
  • Access:    This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
