PDNA Presents First Thursday Artist Series

This Series: Old and New Portland
In this edition, the spotlight turns to Old and New Portland, featuring two artists who embody distinct yet complementary visions of the city.

The first, a seasoned painter rooted deeply in Portland’s creative community, presents work that captures the essence of the city as it once was—nostalgic, layered, and richly expressive. Her pieces invite viewers to revisit the Portland of memory and tradition.

In contrast, the second artist offers a strikingly modern take: a makeup transformationist whose bold, performative art explores identity and change. This fresh perspective speaks to the evolving face of Portland today.

Musical accompaniment comes from a gifted guitarist introduced to us by local favorite Christopher Brown—whom many will remember from our previous jazz series. Expect soulful, intimate sounds that tie the evening together.
