Future of the Pearl Town Hall

Future of the Pearl Town Hall
Date: April 28th
Time: 5:30 pm
Place: The Armory
Dear Concerned Pearl District Neighbors,
We are at an important moment for our neighborhood: We now need to harness the energy the shelter created to Re-Ignite the Pearl! Foot Traffic is down 30% since 2019 and we all feel the impact. It’s time to come together to restore the energy, safety and vibrancy that made this neighborhood one of the most dynamic places in Portland.
At the Town Hall we will discuss some Exciting New Developments, along with a Northrup Shelter update.
Actionable Initiatives to Re-Ignite the Pearl including:
- NEW Weekly Pearl District Farmers Market
- Yoga & Fitness in the Park - starting May
- Summer Concerts & Movies in the Parks
- Bike Races (Criterium)
- Pearl Art Walk
- Cars & Corks on 13th (Luxury cars and wine event)
- Pearl Party
- Go-Cart Races in Old Town/Pearl Streets
That is just the start!
This Town Hall is about bringing life back to our streets, supporting local businesses and creating a thriving connected community once again. We can usher in a new era of growth and vitality - one that both fosters a healthy neighborhood and a strong business environment.
This will not happen on its own. Nobody is going to do this for us. We have to - and we can - do it ourselves. This Town Hall is the starting point, your participation matters; we need everyone in the room.
Please join us 5:30 pm April 28th at the Armory, learn about our plans, share your perspective, get involved and help Re-Ignite the Pearl.
Sincerely,
Bruce
