You have plenty of options for getting where you’re going.
Hop the streetcar
This past year the city welcomed The Portland Streetcar, the most exciting and anticipated addition to Portland since MAX.
The Streetcar is your ticket to shopping on NW 23rd or downtown. And from NW Irving to downtown and back, the streetcar is in the Free Rail Zone.

Take the Max
Most of the Pearl is in Free Rail Zone, which means you can hop the streetcar or walk to Old Town/Chinatown for the new Green and Yellow Max Lines (on 5th and 6th Ave.) on the Transit Mall near the Union Rail Station. Ride to downtown, PSU campus, or to the Lloyd Center across the river for free. Good price.
