Please be advised that track installation in the Pearl will occur

Sept 7, 2010 – Nov 4, 2010
· NW Lovejoy will be closed from 9th to 12th
· NW Northrup will be closed between 10th and 11th
· NW 10th will be closed between Johnson and Marshall
· NW 11th will be closed between Johnson and Northrup –
garage access will be maintained
· NW 9th will be open in both directions
· NW Marshall will be open in both directions
· Driveway and garage access will be maintained
· Pedestrian access will be maintained
· Streetcar service will be replaced with bus service Sept 13 – Sept 26, 2010
· Work hours 6:00AM—11:00PM

Also, be aware that starting November 5, 2010 NW Lovejoy will be one way eastbound from 13th to 10th and NW Northrup will be one way westbound from 10th to 16th. Some of you might have already seen some stop lights going up on the corner of Northrup and 10th.

Sewer installation on NW 9th & Lovejoy
Weeks of March 29, April 5, April 12, April 19

  • 9th Ave will be restricted to 1 northbound lane south of Lovejoy.
  • 9th Ave will be closed to southbound bicycle traffic.
  • 2-way traffic will be maintained on Lovejoy.
  • Eastbound bike lane on Lovejoy between NW 10th and NW 9th will be closed from 7AM-4PM Mon-Fri. Cyclists should use caution as the bike lane will merge into traffic.


    • Sewer installation on NW 11th from Lovejoy to Northrup
    Weeks of April 5, April 12, April 19

  • 2-way traffic will be maintained on Lovejoy.
  • Sidewalks to remain open.
  • Driveway access will be accommodated.
  • 11th will be closed between Lovejoy and Marshall 24/7. Access to the Metropolitan Building parking garage on 11th will be maintained.

    Update: Construction of the streetcar work will begin in the Pearl District on Lovejoy. Here we go folks, try to be safe and avoid this area during rush hour time.

    Please be advised that installation of a sewer line will begin the week of Feb. 22, 2010 on NW 9th and Lovejoy. This work area will be under construction for up to nine weeks.
    (Construction subject to change).

  • 9th Ave will be restricted to 1 northbound lane.
  • 2-way traffic will be maintained on Lovejoy.
  • 9th Ave will be closed to southbound bicycle traffic.

    • Streetcar Loop construction will begin soon in the Pearl District. Work below occurs in 2010:

  • Sewer Feb 22 – May 2
  • Water Work May 3 – July 2
  • Track Construction Sept 6 – Oct 31
  • A 2-Week Streetcar closure will occur Sept 13 – 26
  • The Broadway Bridge will be closed July 5 – Sept 5
  • Construction subject to change.

    • Lane closures and detours will occur during this time. Pedestrians and driveways will be accommodated. Thank you all for your patience.
