Livability and Safety Committee
This committee meets twice monthly to address and manage issues which directly impact the livability of the Pearl District Neighborhood.
The committee developed and administers the neighborhood trash can, pet station and Graffiti Busters programs, Polish the Pearl clean up events, recycling/sustainability, good neighbor agreements, emergency preparedness planning, social events such as “Movies in the Parks” and other issues affecting the neighborhood’s livability.
The Livability and Safety Committee partners with the Pearl District Business Association and several contiguous neighborhoods on important issues we may have in common, such as the Joint Subcommittee on Sidewalk Management, crime prevention and a proposed information kiosks project.
We strongly encourage our neighbors to attend meetings and join our friendly group. There are a lot of issues affecting livability in the Pearl, and we always welcome new, motivated members!
