Ever need extra motivation for Spring Cleaning? Well, the Pearl District Neighborhood Association would like to help Saturday April 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There is no need to drive out to Metro to properly dispose of paint, batteries, propane tanks, art and hobby chemicals, compact fluorescent light bulbs and household cleaners and disinfectants. Simply walk down to the Ecotrust parking lot (NW 10th Ave. between Irving and Johnson). Also, why drive to the landfill or worse pay fines to your apartment or HOA when disposing large household items. The Pearl District Neighborhood Association will have Community Warehouse on hand for donations of household items. We will also have hired professional movers so you can schedule removal of big items. In addition, we will have a Boy Scout troop for front-door, more specifically front-of-building, service to help with smaller donations, paint cans, batteries and such. If you are unsure if Community Warehouse will accept your donation there is a good chance our hired recycle company will be able to make good use of your household items. Last resort, we will be able to save you a trip to the landfill which can be expensive for large items. Best part is that you will be able to support the Pearl District Neighborhood Association through this fundraising event.
