Neighbors West Northwest Fundraiser: Hard Times

You may not know that our neighborhood is part of a coalition of neighborhoods known as Neighbors West- Northwest (NWNW).  The coalition includes the Pearl, Downtown, Goose  Hollow, Arlington and eight other neighborhoods.

The coalition gives NW neighborhoods a stronger voice with the city and allows us to work together on common goals including our emergency preparedness efforts, the Polish the Pearl events and our annual Pearl Party.

Like many non-profits the ability to keep this organization effective  requires considerable volunteer time, and to the extent we can get  them, contributions.

Once a year NWNW has a fundraiser.  Through the generous support of  CoHo Theater we sponsor a preview performance.  The stage is small and you really feel  like you’re sitting on stage next to the actors.  This year’s  performance is based on a novel by Charles Dickens.

Tickets are only $25 with all funds benefiting NWNW.  Two tickets and  a dinner and you have a cheap “date night” and an excellent way to support the PDNA’s efforts by supporting NWNW. See you there!
