Vestas Headquarters Tour & Panel Discussion

The Green Building Interest Group is pleased to showcase an outstanding renovation story at its November session on Wed., November 6, 2013. The Vestas North America Headquarters building achieved LEED Platinum New Construction certification. Notable features of the project include a rainwater harvesting system that provides over 60% of the building’s non-potable water needs and a 112 kW solar array. The inside of the historic building is anchored by a sunlit, open atrium.
Join our distinguished panel to learn about the redevelopment of a former Meier and Frank warehouse into the signature headquarters of Vestas North America. Our featured panelists include:

  • Renee Loveland: Sustainability Manager, Gerding Edlen
  • Flemming Lofberg: Vestas Wind Systems
  • Sabine O’Halloran: Principal, Ankrom Moisan
  • Mitch Dec: Senior Energy Analyst, Glumac

A tour of the Vestas Headquarters building will be offered following the morning panel.


The program is FREE for Cascadia USGBC members and $5 for non-members. Coffee and bagels will be served.
Continuing Ed Credits. Participants will be able to apply for GBCI credits.
